I'm a big believer that we spend money more readily when we can see the inherent value in something and realize that - in the end - what we are after is priceless. Because, after all, you can't put a dollar amount on memories or moments.
As someone who has invested in professional photography as a consumer, I understand that pricing matters. I also understand the adage, "You get what you pay for." After 15 years in the photography industry, I know that my experience is invaluable. I have learned that clients become friends and family throughout the years. My pricing reflects my time, my experience, my product, and my professionalism.
If you are looking for someone cheaper, you'll find a photographer. And I'm not for everyone! And that's ok:). When you are hiring someone to capture you and your loved ones, you need to find the perfect "fit". You need to find someone who makes you comfortable, with a sense of humor, and endless patience. EQUESTRIANS + HORSES
Your session with your horse(s) will be priced based on the size of your herd and the amount of humans in your images. Session fee includes hand-edited high resolution digital images, delivered in a professional gallery online that you can share.

SENIORS
90-120 MINS of photography on-location in Louisville, Lexington, and surrounding areas. Collections include digital files and / or prints. Multiple locations available in some Collections. Travel fees may apply.

FAMILIES + CHILDREN
Sessions range from 30-60 minutes and include digital files and/or prints, depending on the collection. Includes up to 5 people; inquire about special pricing for larger families. Louisville, Lexington, + beyond. Travel fees may apply.

EVENT COVERAGE
Most events are covered at $50 per hour (this includes digital images). A travel fee may apply. A 2-hour minimum is required. Extra retouching (skin, hair, make up) will also be an additional fee.

Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in Louisville, KY and yes, I love to travel! I've shot in ten states plus D.C. and Puerto Rico. : )
How much is your travel fee?
Please drop me a note and I can give you a better idea. Typically I will charge $50 - $100 depending on mileage. If we are doing multiple clients in one location (like at your barn), my travel fee is waived.
When will we get our photos?
I am always upfront about my current turnaround time. In general. most sessions take about two weeks for a full edited gallery to be created. Larger events may take a little longer.
How many pictures will we receive?
That just depends on which collection you ultimately choose. Message me for specific details!
Do you provide the horses for your sessions?
No, the horses you see in my images belong to my clients or they are leased by them.
Do you photograph births? Can you come to the hospital?
Yes, I do! This would fall under event photography.
Do you photograph newborns?
I offer newborn lifestyle photography. This means that I capture your family at home with your newborn. If you are looking for more artistic props and beautifully posed newborns, that is not my area of expertise. I do love to photograph families enjoying their newborn at home, though : )
